An ‘upside-down’ cottage, Yan’s barn, formerly a stable, is a cosy retreat for two. A snug double bedroom downstairs opens onto the enclosed outdoor decked area, complete with table & chairs. The well-equipped kitchen has high ceilings & exposed beams, as well as a table with seating for four people. The utility area, with washing machine and dryer, leads onto the shower room. A few stairs up from the kitchen is a homely sitting room with sofas & a TV There is a Shared heated indoor pool

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Only 10 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Exeter, with its university, theatres, shops and restaurants, Garden Cottage is in a peaceful Devon village with quiet riverside and field walks. The village pub is next door, there is another excellent pub also serving food in the neighbouring village and a highly regarded farm shop about 3 miles away.

There are two friendly village pubs within a short walk, an excellent farm shop & cafe and post office. A 15-20minute drive from Exeter's city centre, Tiverton and Crediton and 45 minutes to Exmoor and Dartmoorand nearest beaches. Varied and picturesque walking routes are close by. We apologise, the property is not currently accepting pets. The property is a non- smoking space.
