Sobrane’s place is a unique place to stay and ….. how can put it ??? …. an eye-candy for Art lovers. Her hospitality from the heart. I will be visiting her place soon again and I highly recommend it without hesitation.

If you're looking to do some hikes in the Stirling Ranges this is the best spot you could base yourself from. The room was very large with great heating/cooling, the beds were comfy & the bathroom was clean with the added benefit of being very accessible if thats needed. I enjoyed having a cuppa on the balcony which looked out over the ranges. There is also a large dining area with a balcony if you want to bring in dinner from a local restaurant as well. I really enjmy time at Caber and when i next come down to finish hiking the range this will be the only place i will look at staying in.

I had a wonderful time meeting Alison and staying at her place. Alison was extremely welcoming and provided a very homely experience. I would definitely recommend staying with Alison and look forward to the next opportunity.

Thorn retreat was an absolute gem to find and stay in! When coming to the south, this is exactly what I had hoped for. Beautiful old cottage, tucked in amongst nature on one of the most beautiful properties you will ever see. Michael and Pam were so lovely and Michael has gone above and beyond to ensure every guest gets a full experience of the surrounding area. I cannot wait to come back here! My new favourite spot.

We spent 4 nights at Lorinda and Adam's farm. The location is perfect for exploring the Stirling Ranges, just 30 minutes from Bluff Knoll. The house is very quiet and private, with all you need (coffee machine, air fryer, toaster, etc.). There are no shops or places to eat nearby, so we stocked up and had no issues. The fresh eggs we found in the fridge were a pleasant surprise. The farm is huge with plenty of room to explore, and we loved interacting with the chickens and sheep. Everything was very clean, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

Martyn was a fabulous host. His and Sonya’s property was relaxing and we loved the kangaroos, chickens, birds and cats. Thanks for the welcoming coffee, tea, hot chocolate and breakfast jams. Place was well equipped and a great location to explore the Porongurups. Castle rock was worth the climb. What a fabulous location with wineries and distillery nearby.

Perfect for a night or two in Katanning.

We had a wonderful stay at Andre and Elna's property in Katanning, WA. While the place isn’t brand new, it’s spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The hosts clearly care about their guests' comfort — everything we needed was provided, and little touches like the selection of lollies were a nice bonus! Katanning itself is a charming town with a lot to offer. We enjoyed visiting the historical sites, including the impressive Katanning Heritage Trail and the beautiful Katanning Town Hall. The local agricultural region is also worth exploring, and if you’re a nature lover, the nearby Piesse Lake and its walking trails are lovely for a peaceful afternoon. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient base in Katanning, I highly recommend this place. Thanks to Andre and Elna for making my stay so enjoyable
