What an adventure. We were a group of friends with people of all ages and everyone loved the space. It’s not a child friendly place but kids (and everyone else) loved the surroundings,birds and views. We hiked to the neighboring hill and were rewarded with amazing views. The hosts are very attentive and dealt with any issues proactively. It’s not an easy location but one worth making the effort to get to. The house is beautiful and rustic. An outdoor bathroom isn’t the most practical but somehow adds to the house and we can see how it would be great on the summer. The kitchen had everything we needed, we cooked all our meals with ease, and the local housekeeper is perfect if you prefer not to cook, in fact having her cook for you is a great way of empowering her to create a better life for herself and her family. Jody and Punyaka were always responsive and we hope to have the chance to visit again, it’s not an experience we will easily forget! Don’t miss Diyaluma falls (take swimsuit).

It was a nice place to stay with nature friendly environment. This place had everything you need for a big group. Highlight of the stay was the home made delicious food cooked by care takers ( food needs to be ordered separately and she has stated that on the listing). They managed to organize a safari trip for us with a short notice. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for having us.

We had a great stay at Patricia's . The hut we stayed in was small but adequate for our family of five. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have a fridge to store some of the food that we brought onto the site. We all loved the site, especially the swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Patricia was very helpful with booking our safari and advising us when to go and for how long. She and her staff made us some delicious meals while we were there and made sure we felt well looked after. I'd recommend Patricia's place for anyone needing a place to stay whilst visiting the nearby national parks. Thank you Patricia and all at the Kirinda Beach house.

Unsere Zeit in dieser Unterkunft war sehr schön! Die Lage ist traumhaft – umgeben von Feldern, einem See und Bananenstauden, ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Das größte Lob gebührt jedoch Rushan, der sich wirklich herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und seine Tante hat uns mit köstlichem Essen verwöhnt – das Essen war definitiv mein persönliches Highlight! Auch die von ihm organisierte Safari war super unkompliziert, und unser Guide im Park hat uns zu wirklich tollen Spots geführt. Der Pool war ebenfalls wunderschön, nur ein paar zusätzliche Liegen wären perfekt gewesen. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

I found my Sri Lankan home at this beautiful space!! Loved every minute I was there, the views are incredible, waking up every morning with a cuppaaa tea in bed looking at the mountains uhh just paradise. If you are looking to be in nature, for calm, serenity.. this is your place! Chittra became like family when we were there, she is so friendly, warm and welcoming to her home and cares that you have a wonderful stay, oh and please try her food, it’s incredible!! I also fell in love with her doggies, who are super friendly and kind, they even come walking with you. Book now, you will love ittt!!xoxox

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and my daughters were excited to have their own little house! It was well set up with a restaurant across the road for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also packed breakfast for the safari if needed. The hosts were very friendly and showed us lots of birds and animals in the lush garden. They also shared badminton nets and cricket bats for our daughters to play and put up big hammocks to relax in. They were able to arrange everything such as the safari tour, a trip to the local Buddhist temple and to see a colony of fruit bats, and a car to our next destination. I’d recommend going for the 6 hour safari as you can go a bit further into the park and not be around as many jeeps. We saw elephants, mongoose, monitor lizards, the giant Sri Lankan squirrel, crocodiles, wallowing buffalo and 20+ kinds of birds. Recommended as a place to stay near the safari park entrance.

What a special place. We travelled with three young children and felt so at home here. It is one of the most beautiful patches of land I’ve ever seen in terms of wildlife and the immediate setting. It’s so wild and pretty and yet the staff keep everything pristine like the pool area etc. The food was wonderful too. The safari was excellent and even my 3.5 year old managed it and loved it! We booked a transfer onwards and the van was great with a really good baby seat for our 9 month old. We met Madu several times and he was so lovely, just a very special home environment but suitably high end enough too. Thank you Madu and Kristin!

"Wilderness Bliss at Yala's Edge" Our stay at this Airbnb on the border of Yala National Park was an absolute wilderness extravaganza. It offered the best forest experience, immersing us in nature's embrace like never before. The highlight of our stay was not just the captivating wilderness but also the delectable dinner. It was a culinary delight that perfectly complemented our adventure-filled days. Mr. Santosh, played an instrumental role in making our stay exceptional. His assistance and warmth added immense value to our experience. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience throughout our time there. This spot is a must-visit, especially if you're planning a safari at Yala National Park. The rates are incredibly reasonable, offering exceptional value for the experience it provides. It's a treasure trove for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly
