Fee's place was very comfortable and well-equipped. The surroundings were beautiful. Unfortunately we had alot of rain and weren't able to cross the river in our vehicles on one of the days to exit the estate, due to flooding, but Fee was amazing at keeping us updated on what was happening. We had a wonderful family weekend! Thanks, Fee!

Highly recommend this cottage stay. Peter was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Beautiful view of the mountains and the wild life walking around and visits from the horses and Zebra was very special. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Inversanda Farm. The fenced yard was large so our dogs had plenty of room. The cottage was cozy and a substantial size so we could comfortably stay for 4 nights. We would definitely be back!

1000 characters is not enough to describe the beauty of the place and its people, but I'll try. The venue is beautifully natural with plenty of grass area for comfy camping in tents. The cottage was rustic, off-grid and still equipped with all necessities. We slept really well and had a great night's rest in the comfy double bed. Plenty of blankets and comfy soft pillows made us feel at home. If you're going for the scenery, then you will not be disappointed any time of the year. We arrived at night during rain and was kindly guided by Karl from the offramp to the cottage. We got stuck due to the wet roads and Karl was there to assist us from the start. He offered to take us to our racing event without us asking while our car was still stuck. If it weren't for Karl, then our weekend would have turned out completely different and we would have missed the reason we came for. Karl is a gentleman and a legend. Kobi their dog is super amazing. I left with my heart full.

We had a great stay! The place was fabulous..... comfortable, amazingly well kept and just as described. Our host was amazing, proactively checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. All the amenities were on pint and we truly felt at home. Looking forward to our next stay! Thanks Rae

Robyn and Frank's place was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a quiet getaway, and it provided just that. They are there when you need them, great with communication, and respectful of your privacy. I thoroughly enjoyed their company too. It was wonderful waking up in the morning with a coffee, sitting on the patio, and watching the ducks in the pond. I was absolutely thrilled with my stay and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to "get away" from the noise and chaos of everyday life. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention—the cutest puppy ever!

Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. We had an incredible stay at Shetland Cottage at Inverness Farm! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Les and a helpful guide to local activities and dining. The cottage was cozy and inviting, with a comfortable bed, robes, treats, and hot water bottles adding special touches. The sunlight streaming in and the bay window quickly became our favourite spot to unwind. The fireplace added a charming touch and made our evenings extra relaxing. The farm shop offers drinks, snacks, and books. The cottage is dog-friendly, so your furry friend can join the adventure. Kids would love interacting with the farm animals, including pigs, chickens, sheep, cows, donkeys, and rabbits. Les, our host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also loved the sundowner spot on the bench or rocks. We highly recommend Shetland Cottage for a peaceful getaway 🌻

We were in the area for a wedding. We didn't have time to chill at the cottage in the evenings. We've all decided this is a good spot for a weekend away with mates, just to chill and get some RnR

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

Perfect home for 4 couples well equipped and most comfortable

The farmhouse is spacious and comfortable. The farm is stunning and the farmer was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed walking around among the ducks, sheep and cows. My son particularly enjoyed milking the cow. The road to the farm requires a 4x4 vehicle, and the roads around the farm can be very muddy in the rain, if you would like to walk it is essential to bring hiking boots or wellies.

The cottage was a perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort, offering a cozy retreat amidst the stunning countryside. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the kitchen setup made it easy to prepare our own meals. The surrounding landscape was peaceful, with rolling hills and lush greenery that provided a serene backdrop for our getaway. We loved exploring the nearby walking trails and visiting some of the nearby eateries. The hosts were open and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, our experience was memorable, and we highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature.

My family and I spent Christmas at Oakvlei Farm and we absolutely loved it! The house was perfect in every way. We were amazed by how friendly and responsive Carol and her team were during our stay as they never hesitated to assist us. I have to condone her for the extremely comfy beds and quality linen on the beds. We were able to bring our two little dogs in which they were able to run around the whole day, seeing as the big garden is completely closed off. If you are looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat with friends or family, I highly recommend Carol's place.

The accommodation is spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. The accommodation is nice and central if wanting to explore the meander.

If you looking for a home away from home, peace and tranquility, then this is just the place. Everything you need , just pack your own food and you don’t have to step out. The dam was such a bonus and my son enjoyed fishing for bass with some great catch and release.The setting is truly amazing. The cottage is well thought out from appliances in the kitchen to the scullery ,It has everything you need. An amazing fireplace and the weird weekend weather did not bother us.Thank you Gavin , our stay was truly memorable.
