The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Murray cottage

Murray is a two-bedroom cottage with two queen beds. It has beautiful views of neighbouring vineyards, and is quiet and peaceful. For weekend bookings, a minimum of two guests is required. The cottage is five minutes drive from Hunter Valley galleries and major wineries and restaurants, and less than two hours from Sydney. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper, who uses alcohol-based cleaning agents. Generous, reduced rates are available for week-long stays.

Newly renovated, heritage listed colonial style house directly backing on to Branxton Golf Course with lovely views over the 8th green. House features polished floorboards, leather couches, a great deck overlooking the golf course, ducted air conditioning, large screen tv, and combustion fireplace. 11 minutes to Hunter Valley wineries, restaurants and Golf Courses. Close to the centre of Branxton - one block to pub, shops and supermarket. Convenient pick up point for Hunter Valley events.

Inala, which means peaceful place, is the perfect escape. Nestled on 7 acres of native bushland, this architect designed home boasts complete privacy and commands spectacular views across to the Barrington Tops through its extensive North facing windows. The Polehouse cottage, located on a large rural property is a relaxing way to escape the rush of modern day life. It has 2 bedrooms consisting of 1 king and 1 queen bed. Features include a private deck, spa, BBQ and fireplace. Firewood is provided between May and September to keep the cottage warm in the evenings.
