The location is magical . Loved waking up and seeing the scenery. The trail was really well maintained given all the snow. We've had a wonderful hike to the pond seeing only nature, not one person on the trail. It was fun stopping and trying to identify all kinds of animal tracks along the path. We are thinking of coming back in the spring or summer. Thank you for muffins Toby and Peter!!!

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We had a FANTASTIC time here!! My girlfriend and I spent five days in AirBnbs across the coast of Maine and Canada and this was our favorite by far!! The cabin is SO cute, the bed was really comfy, the bathroom was everything we needed, and the hot tub/fire pit overlooking the mountain sunset was *chefs kiss*. We spent our morning reading from the tarot cards and drinking the organic coffee that was in the cabin, and feel so lucky to have finished our trip on a high note by staying here. Check out was super easy as well! Would definitely come back :)

Fantastic stop on our way up to Acadia. Only wish we had booked for two nights instead of one! the wood stove was super efficient on a very chilly October night. Close to the Pour Farm and Odd Alewives breweries, which were awesome. And very quick drive to Camden for food options and excellent ocean/mountain hikes. Very clean and cozy Maine camp. We hope to be back!

This cabin was even better in person than in the photos. We had a couple of issues upon arrival, due to the weather, but we were able to sort them out with the host (Ben) over the phone. The cabin was remarkably clean, warm, and had all of the amenities we needed. Our dog enjoyed walking around the property in the snow, and we enjoyed a cozy weekend together. I highly recommend getting breakfast at Ralph’s cafe in Brooks- one of the biggest highlights of the trip.

The cabin was as advertised, location and accommodations. Nice and peaceful, isolated and dark at night. Bring your head lamps and flashlights and enjoy a great night’s sleep and rustic lounging around accommodations.

Incredibly peaceful and gorgeous location. Very quiet and the docks on the lake and the views were perfection. Loved the drive in on the camp road and while there were other cabins close by, we never saw or really heard anyone else. Which was great. Would absolutely book this place again!

Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

Kim's place felt like camping out, in a great way. We love the little three stringed dulcimer and cooking hot dogs on the campfire. The beds were comfortable! Thank you, Kim!

Super cozy cabin right on the water with great views. It rained our whole stay but that was okay with us!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, the house was well stocked and we felt right at home. The dogs loved the dock on the lake. Listening to the loons on the porch while drinking our coffee was truly special. We would absolutely stay with Lauren and Warren again!

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

For me, it’s the people as much as it is the places that make stays like this so special. I immediately knew I was in a spot that was as well cared for as it was organically special simply by its location. Dorothee and Rob went over and above to make my stay a comfortable one. They were so friendly, personable, kind and also very respectful. I am so glad I got to rest here on my way north and meet these lovely humans… thanks friends… Toni xx

This place had a beautiful view that exceeded all expectations! My sister and I enjoyed staying there as it was a perfect size for 2 people. Michael was a great host and was very helpful!

Amazing stay, hosts were very accommodating and the house and location were beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Calen’s cabin. We went at the end of August and the water was very warm. We loved the shoreline/beach at the house as it offered easy access for our toddler and dog to swim and play. The dock was great; we were able to bring our boat and explore the lake. Town was just a quick 5 minute ride and the area was great for day trips and exploring. Would definitely come back!

We had an excellent stay at this cool and cozy little cabin with our three year-old along. The view and setting couldn't have been better, and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. I didn't love having to take our own trash with us on our way out, but this wasn't too big a deal. All in all, definitely recommend this spot.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is right on the lake and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, making a campfire in the firepit, and listening to loons. The location feels peaceful and quiet, and at the same time, Lincolnville and Camden/Rockport are close by. We appreciated that the kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. Nicole was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

This was a perfect place to stay while we explored Belfast and mid coast Maine! It was easy to access and all the instructions were clear. The beds felt like hotel beds and the place was well maintained.

We had a fantastic and peaceful week at the Liberty Retreat. We spent every day down on the waterfront, and there was so much to explore on the pond. We paddled around in the kayak and very comfortable canoe (it has backrests!) that were provided and brought our own paddleboards. It was also nice to be able to go out to the floating dock to swim or just catch some more afternoon sun. Our dog had a blast swimming and laying out on the dock and porches, and she quickly adapted to the stairs inside. We also appreciated all the dog towels Al provided, along with lots of other thoughtful touches! The house was so clean when we got there, and everything worked great! We would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy getaway.
