We enjoyed the size of the home and that it was large enough to accommodate our extended family for meals. Peaceful yard with plenty of seating. Large table in dining area for our meals. Great place to get together to celebrate family.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The views of the Columbia River Gorge from the living room and from the hot tub were amazing, and there was plenty of space for us (two couples + three babies/toddlers) in the home. We loved the location – it was an easy five-minute walk down to the market and a handful of eateries in town, a 10-15 minute drive to many more options in Hood River, and near walks/hikes like the Mosier Twin Tunnels and Mosier Plateau Trail.

I would highly recommend this lovely home. We stayed there with our daughter, son in law and 4 teenage grandchildren. There was plenty of space. The house was well stocked with everything. My grandsons loved playing air hockey. The hot tub was enjoyed after a long day of skiing !! We were able to walk to restaurants and had a short drive to the ski slopes. We had a wonderful time!!!

We loved our stay here. Gorgeous views from the hot tub and we played a ton of pool. The location was great for hiking around mt hood and the gorge.

We have been here a few times before and loved it! This was out third time staying here and it is starting to feel like home to us. Quiet, peaceful and a view of the Columbia River...what more could you want? I come here partly because of the close proximity to some great wineries, but also for the solitude. It is well-appointed and has everything we need...kitchen...sauna...hot tub...and a really nice deck out back! There is nothing quite like sitting on the deck, sipping great wine, and watching a flock of turkeys stroll by. Jodine was very accommodating when we decided to stay for a fourth day....all at the last minute, but not a problem! VERY cool ! I'm sure we will be staying here again soon. This house was perfect for our multi family vacation. I wish I could say the same about the conditions at timberline but we made the best of it. There were plenty of unexpected amenities like the glove warmer which came in very handy.

It was a lovely stay. It fit all our family of 13 perfectly and had kitchen stuff and appliances for all of us! The hot tub was also a hit for after a day of skiing! The owner and his team were super responsive and attentive.

My son in law and groomsmen enjoyed the house with its spectacular view of the mountain!

Sara is a great host that helped us on a last minute trip. Best walkable location in government camp, great layout, and had everything we needed.

We came up for a long weekend to celebrate a family birthday. We wanted a place close to skiing, with a nice hot tub. This place was perfect for our needs! The hot tub is absolutely awesome. Very clean and well kept, overlooking a very private forested backyard! Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked, they even have electric mixers, several different versions of coffee maker, and a Vitamix blender! The black squirrel is so cute and cozy, and pretty much right across the street from the government camp shuttle stop, about a five minute walk. They also had lots of kids toys and entertainment; several baskets full of Magnatiles, Duplos, Lincoln logs, etc. Our three-year-old even started learning to play chess! The rental management company is very friendly and helpful, and their office to pick up and drop off the key is right on the highway as you enter and leave town. I would highly recommend this cabin, and the rental managers as well!
