We had the most beautiful 2-night stay at Chateau Clarence Point with our family from April 17th to 19th. The home was even better than the pictures—so spacious, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our little ones loved the playroom and all the space to run around, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful views of the Tamar River and cosy evenings by the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some lovely family meals, and the whole house just had such a calm, welcoming feel to it. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It was the perfect way to start our Tasmania trip—relaxing, comfortable, and full of lovely memories. Highly recommend this gem to anyone travelling with family or friends!

We had a relaxing trip, the house was great for our two families with kids. The pizza oven was definitely the highlight and the view was gorgeous Kitchen had more than you need and everything was well stocked.

We as an extended family make this a regular family getaway. We have always had such a great time and thoroughly enjoy all the activities on offer. Some fierce 8 ball is played. Cricket and football in the huge yard. A spot of fishing nearby and swimming in the beautiful pool is always a highlight. An added bonus this year was getting a message to say we could check in early. Thank you again. The memories we get from our stay are beautiful. A trip to the Beaconsfield mine was also a highlight this year.

Stargazers Cottage was so beautiful, situated right on the water on a huge private property. We loved watching the galahs, swans and water birds fly past while we soaked in the hot tub or sat on the deck. We even saw a seal out in the bay. It was comfortable and peaceful. The cinema room and games collection went down well with the 9 year old. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, two nights just wasn't enough!

Kyle was a fantastic host! Responded straight away when we had any questions. The place was fantastic for a week away! I couldn’t recommend the property more!

Absolutely gorgeous house in a nice peaceful location. we had a big family group and everyone really enjoyed the space.

The house is beautiful and comfortable for two small families. A prefect location and view, being close to Exeter for all your extra needs. The pool looked inviting but unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side to enjoy it. We appreciated the ample amount of coffee pods being provided and the wine bar which we didn’t require but a great idea.

Place was awesome, relaxing and welcoming. Plenty of room for everyone. View was amazing especially at night. Fresh bread left on arrival was delicious and very thoughtful. We would book again!!

Beautiful place to stay. Extremely clean and tidy with a very comfy bed. Cannot fault anything about my stay. Scott was so friendly and hospitable. Really easy to find and Scott's instructions were perfect. I will definitely be back.

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in April 2025. The house down under is just perfect. So well equipped. Patrick and Indira are excellent hosts. Patrick gave excellent advice for our touring. Thank you both. I absolutely recommend staying at your house down under.

Large, solid home with 4 large bedrooms, excellent heating, well appointed kitchen and laundry. We were a party of eight and appreciated two toilets and two showers. Whilst bedrooms comfortably accommodate 8, lounge room and kitchen table does not have enough space for all guests to sit in the room….didn’t bother our party too much. Would stay here again for sure.

The photos don't do this place justice - proximity to the beach is outstanding. Comfortable and so very homely, perfect to switch off and enjoy the sound of crashing waves and watch a beautiful sunset

Great place with large living space, kitchen, deck area and bedrooms. Close walking distance to supermarket, shops and bluff area. Enough off street parking for multiple cars.

Beautiful relaxing location, taking my first step into beachside the place felt clean and homely. The house is old but has charm and could do with a little bit of maintenance. Shan is a very good host and when I needed to contact her she responded quickly. We appreciated that she allowed us to stay with our long haired chihuahua “Sasha” and we all plan to return as this is a great place to just chill out and relax. Wendy, Ray and Sasha ( might I add we had to carry Sasha out as she was not ready to leave😂😂)

Always a great stay at Amanda's house. The place is always clean, it's a great size and in a great location. This was my second visit and it's worth every cent. Amanda also left Easter eggs out for my little ones which was very considerate of her. 🙂

Had a perfect stay here for a family of 5 with one baby. Wish we stayed here longer and it felt like home away from home. Host was kind enough to prepare the room catered to our 5 month old, even though we’re only there for a night. Would definitely return here again for a few more nights :)

This is an amazing home, perfect for a couple of families, or couples or a big family like ours. There’s so many living area options both indoors and out. Little shelves with books wherever you find a comfy spot to sit. Everything you could possibly need.

Great location near the bike park. Came with 6 blokes for a 4 day MTB holiday. Bike storate was excellent and we loved the fire pit at night with plenty of firewood. TV was good, internet was good, shower was nice, good towels. Great trip

After camping in Derby for a while it was great to settle into Jo's house. I especially liked that there was snacks left for us to enjoy and the shower pressure was amazing. It was also awesome that there was Netflix available for us to use!
