The added amenities, including the pool, hot tub, and gym, made our stay even more enjoyable, offering plenty of options for relaxation and fitness. We have been coming to Ogunquit/Wells in the summer for about 10 years, and this was our first time trying Summer Village, and it was a truly fantastic stay! The cottage location is situated between Ogunquit and Wells and is easily accessible to both of those beaches and destinations nearby. ‘A’ could not have been a nicer, more responsive host and it made the logistics of planning very easy. Know going into it that you are bringing your own linens and towels, and there are some standard rules about the larger property, but the cottage has everything you could need and it was very welcoming. In A’s cottage, you have easy ability to sleep a family of 5. There is a fully stocked kitchen and gas grill. But the biggest unexpected perk was all the amenities of the Summer Village property. 3 pools, bocce, tennis, a rec room with games, and a free on-site trolley to get you around every 20 minutes. The stay was incredibly relaxing and I would highly recommend this for young families!

Nice private area, close by to a few small-towns for groceries, gas, etc. Property was very scenic and often only sounds that could be heard were birds. Slept 5 comfortably and never felt crowded. 10/10

This trip was more than we could've ever wanted! The property was lovely and the hosts were more than accommodating and made sure everything was as comfortable as it could've been! I'd recommend anyone to book with these hosts and I will definitely be booking again!

My family and I had such a WONDERFUL long weekened away at Fox & Loon! It was so relaxing and peaceful, and exactly what we needed! The house was the perfect setup for our family of 4. It was so open and bright, and had everything we needed. We got tons of use out of the hot tub, and fished every day from the dock! The sunsets were gorgeous! Sheri and Adam were the perfect hosts! Right from the beginning, they were extremely responsive and answered every question I had (which was a lot!). They even went out of their way to find out some additional information I requested. We would absolutely, without a doubt, stay here again! Thank you Sheri and Adam!

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. We felt right at home and Rick allowed us to bring our dog and two cats, a bonus not easily found. The rental was cozy but big enough for the two of us and 3 fur babies. The shower was nice and hot, the Wi-Fi was excellent and we had a great Roku TV that we easily streamed our services without issue. The furniture was very big and comfortable with throws available for added warmth. The bedroom was perfect with plenty of space for our clothes, a nice bed and new fresh bedding. The absolutely only challenge was the narrow, curvy driveway! Luckily, we had a good back up camera and the street wasn’t very busy. This minor issue is not enough to deter us from returning for another stay!

Great location and cozy home with great ambiance, decor, and all of the necessities. The spiral staircase and upstairs rooms felt much smaller in person but no major issues! If you're bringing dog(s) that may have noise sensitivity like ours sometimes do - note that the walls to nextdoor Airbnb are quite thin. The dogs also had difficulty on the stairs - one learned to go up and down by training and the other one had to be carried up and down 😂 Hosts were great!

A large, comfortable home with the ocean in sight! The beach was stunning and the area was so quiet and peaceful in the off-season. Some great restaurants and shops were still open too. We’d love to return one day.

My boyfriend and I had an outstanding time at Helens cozy spot. We spent all day kayaking and canoeing in the beautiful lake. We absolutely loved this home and will miss it dearly. We'll hopefully be back another time. The dishwasher amenity was a life saver! We also hiked up Mount Willard via Crawford's notch (much to my surprise my boyfriend proposed up there!) This will be a get away I will never forget. Definitely stay at this lovely lake house.

Thank you very much Joan for a nice week for me and the kids. It was just what the doctor ordered, and a good change of scene where we could put away the devices and pick up a board game and relax! The weather did not quite cooperate as it was extremely cold and windy, with a heavy snowstorm to start the week. Luckily Joan was very communicative and flexible around the storm and ensured we were able to get up there safe and sound to hunker down as the snow fell down. The kids (13 & 10) and I got in a good routine of cross country skiing and exploring the lake together, playing some board games, and enjoying the jacuzzi! We ended up housebound for a good chunk of the trip so it was nice to have such a cozy place to have as our home base. Take care and hope to be back someday! Jeremy

We spent nearly a week at the cabin. We had sun, snow and rain while we were there, but we didn’t care! The cabin is comfy and cozy. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing visit, including a fireplace. The decor is cute and comfy. The bathroom, including the shower and BIG towels, was perfect. Nestled in the trees, on the river, it uwill be an awesome place to visit this summer.

Words can’t describe the view from the patio. It was a wonderful, peaceful escape from everything!

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed here for a mini mommy/daughter vacation. She wanted to go shopping and I wanted the beach. We took a drive into Kittery ME one day and hit Weir’s beach the next. The cabin was perfect for the two of us! I cooked most of our meals there, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the pull out couch was equally comfortable for my daughter. While we were there I didn’t need to reach out to our host, Heather, as everything at the cabin was fine but she answered all my question prior to our stay very quickly and sent great instructions for entering & leaving. I would not hesitate to recommend this little cabin to anyone!! Wonderful memories made!!

Alfa and Eric were great hosts. the cottage was adorable and lots to keep us busy even on our rainy night. We are looking forward to booking another ling weekend in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful lake a bit more. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us.

Dianne’s place was just right for my small family of three! The place was clean and well kept and had all the amenities one could need and even more than we expected. There was some construction going on at the house next door, which was a bit disappointing, but just a reminder that the house is in a community and not to expect complete silence at all times. Dianne was very responsive and kind, and all in all we had a very lovely time.

Don’t tell anyone about Shelley’s place! We want to be the only ones to be there!!!!! We had a beautiful time ! Me, my daughter and her 2 yr old son. The lake is soooooo clear and relaxing. Canoed every day. Loons in the lake everyday. Went and picked blueberries and went to the children’s museum😃 Close to Portland! We’ll bring the Daddy next time! Thanks Shelley

We rented one of the cabins at Lakehurst Cottages for a week in August. We were nervous because we were bringing up our boat and had a bad experience at another lake last year. Jim and Janet were so reassuring as to where we could keep the trailer and the location of a convenient boat launch. It all worked out great! Our cottage was a delightful 1 bedroom with sliders all around. There was everything we needed to cook meals. They have a fire pit with wood if you want to make a fire, or chairs to sit in by the water. Downtown Alton Bay was 4 miles away and we enjoyed walking around during an annual festival and craft fair. The town docks are plentiful and convenient if you have a boat. There is so much to do at Lake Winnipesauke and this cabin was in such a great location with great hosts - and guests!

Really enjoyed our stay at Samantha’s place. Very accommodating and went above and beyond to assure we were comfortable for our vacation. House was comfortable and worked well for our large family. Super close to everything! Hoping we can make it back next year.
