I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming house by the lake, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the serene lake and surrounding nature. The house itself was cozy and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. One of the highlights was the outdoor space. The deck overlooking the lake was a fantastic spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, and we loved spending time by the fire pit under the stars. There were also kayaks and paddleboards available, which made for some fun and adventurous afternoons on the water. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Venetowoods was a great place to stay over New Years Weekend! I would recommend this place to anyone who has a large group. I will definitely be back and will be recommending to many friends and family.

Absolutely perfect stay during Spring break! The entire family (9 in total) enjoyed the property so much that kids asked to return next year! The home is very spacious and the land surrounding it couldn't be better. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!!

We really loved the house and had a great time there. The only thing I would improve on were the instructions prior to arrival. The note we got said that there were not basic essentials like salt, pepper, oil, one roll of TP, etc. in fact the house was well stocked and I didn’t need to bring many of the things that I brought. Other than that, all good.

Donald’s place was just as described. It is located right on the river and has some beautiful views. The house is an older house, but it is well kept. It was definitely a neat little place to stay and we enjoyed it very much. Donald was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Donald and Valerie were both very helpful. We will definitely be staying again when we’re in the area.

Having several separate apartments and a main house instead of one big house was very helpful. We had 12 people, ages 6-84. Together time was great, and we also had plenty of room to spread out for quiet times as needed. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect. The apartment kitchens made our meal prep go smoothly. We had everything we needed. Diana was a wonderful hostess and sent notices about local events. Some of us visited Falling Water. The location is convenient to many outdoor activities like bike trails, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, but it was too cold for us to do any of that this time. I would definitely rent again. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Confluence is a cute little town with a coffee shop, ice cream shop, a nice bar, a train (earplugs provided for sleeping), a huge Dollar General for food and anything you might need to pick up. The property is located right on the river and you see the confluence of the rivers.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location, peaceful, quiet, lovely and bucolic! Easy to find, spotless, charming, can’t say enough positive things for the property and the owner! Would highly recommend.

A lovely spot, right on the beautiful lake, close to a quieter cove, with the state forest across the street. Rustic, all we needed for a peaceful & relaxing week.

This is the perfect place to stay on a family bike trip. We had a relaxing stay at the house and were able to easily access bike trails from its river location. We would stay again!

A beautiful cabin in a peaceful location, exactly as described on the website. Comfortable and well-appointed, easy to get to with clear instructions on how to begin and end our stay. Perfect for three (or four) couples. We will stay here again!

Miriam's place was the perfect location for our family's weekend getaway - right next to the GAP bike trail and driving distance to Ohiopyle State Park. Her place was exactly as described, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and her instructions were clear. We had no issues with check in or with the stay at all. Our family enjoyed the TV set-up, the fully stocked kitchen, and the board games when we were relaxing after our days of hiking and biking. The Dollar General across the street was really convenient for snacks and toiletries. Loved seeing the sun rising over the mountains in the morning and the bright stars at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Super close to the lake with a beautiful view! House was exactly as described. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is set up in the woods with a peaceful view. Fully stocked kitchen, hot tub was amazing and the wrap around porch was great for added space. Not a lot of storage for clothes but good size closests. The rain showers were a nice added touch! Great WiFi service and this home is fully updated with equipment. Would highly recommend!

Awesome cabin fit a great price!

Perfect ski-in ski-out on down under trail. Not a good ski in ski out for beginners. Beautiful views from all the decks. Functional well stocked kitchen. Great place for fuzzy friends. Solid gates around the kitchen. Very steep steps to loft bedroom.

The house is less than 5 minutes from Ohiopyle State Park. It is a beautiful location, and the house provided a comfortable space for us. We enjoyed the fire pit when the weather was nice, and the large dining table gave us space for board games on a rainy evening. Anthony’s nearby hike recommendations were exactly what we needed to get ourselves acquainted with the area. Every day, we enjoyed waterfalls, wildflowers, birds, and trails through mountains. My favorite part was sitting on the deck in the mornings with a cup of coffee. The quiet of the mountains was wonderful, and the birds were fun to watch. We would stay here again!

Great location for going to wisp, a lot of great space in the actual are bnb. Since it’s through a rental company it’s a little different than a true air bnb but overall would recommend

Our group absolutely loved staying at Eagle's Nest. It was tidy and clean and had a great layout and space for everyone. We especially appreciated the multiple tables and large, well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub was wonderful, and the view out the large windows and from the back deck were gorgeous. Finding the trash was a bit tricky because of the directions; for future guests, note that the driveway refers to the road that all the nearby houses are on, not the individual driveway for Eagle's Nest. We had a great stay and would return!

We had an amazing weekend! The place was gorgeous and in a great location to multiple places that we visited- Deep Creek Lake State Park, Swallow Falls, and Wisp was directly across the street. I would definitely recommend and we will be booking another upcoming trip in the future.

Check in was so easy. Any questions we had were answered right away. The house was beautiful and so clean! It fit our family so well! It was so peaceful and quiet. The kids had a blast! There were deer near the house, they even came into the yard which was amazing. The house was about 20 minutes from all kinds of attractions which made it a great location, close to everything but still private. Loved it!

This house was awesome, cozy and warm, great view and location. We would come back here again. They did a great job decorating the home and it was very clean. One small issue, we were not able to get the direct tv to work for us. Had to pull things up on our computer and stream it through or watch Netflix. We didn’t watch it much. Also, the kitchen wall on the other side of the stairs (kitchen side) may need a fresh coat of paint. We really loved this home!!
