At the end of a rain-forested road, our waterfront reserve retreat commands an unbeatable view over Phegan’s Bay, a little known, secluded waterway far from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to dip into the Central Coasts many activities and services. You will wake up to the romantic sound of anchors clinking, birds chirruping, immersed in lifes simple pleasures.

Lakeside Guesthouse, Swansea

Situated directly opposite beautiful Lake Macquarie, this guest house is perfect for a romantic escape or water-lovers getaway. If you’re into scuba diving, fishing, boating, jet skiing or love the beach, this is the place for you. The boat ramp is 200 metres down the road; Caves Beach is a 7 minute drive away; we are within walking distance or a short drive to the shopping village, clubs and pubs. Also, easy access to Blacksmiths Beach, Belmont, Charlestown Square Shopping Centre and Newcastle.

This newly renovated unit boasts unobstructed views across Newcastle’s working harbor and the beautiful Ballast grounds. Includes Queen-sized bed and ensuite, with shampoo, conditioner and all linen provided. Fully equipped kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, toaster oven, hot plate, frypan, saucepan, sandwich maker and microwave. The lounge room has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, a double leather recliner lounge and a 42-inch LCD TV. Complimentary continental breakfast included.

With just a short walk to the waterfront, corner store and bottle shop, you can set up the perfect picnic down by the water or at home. Grab yourself one of Central Coasts best coffee's from Empires D'lite. If you are a bringing a boat along, you can plonk it in at Kendall Road wharf and be set for the day. There is also kids parks, tennis court and bbq area close by.

Welcome to Lakes Breeze, a picturesque home nestled directly on Lake Tuggerah. Getaway from busy days, you will free yourself and have lots of fun inside and out in this family friendly lake house. Make yourself a morning espresso in front of bright windows, have a nice afternoon tea under the large gazebo and soak in picture-postcard sunset glow around firepit. Go fishing or exploring wild pelicans and black swans by kayaks or play pingpong/air hockey in the garage, it’s all by your choice.

Absolute waterfront 3 bedroom cute family cottage!

Sleep literally 5 meters from the clear deepwater frontage great for fishing and swimming. Snorkel for a look at fish and old sandstone ballast from coal ships while eating oysters from rocks at low tide. Watch the sharp shells. (Water shoes, personal life vest, and flippers advised.) Walk the nature reserve and spot the swooping Owls. No fences so please bring extra-long dog leads. Use the kayaks and standup paddleboards while wondering if there is life on Mars! (Jetty is not our property.)

Want more?, you can enjoy 4WDs on local beaches and the nearby Watagan Mts with easy rainforest walks and picnic areas. Hunter Valley vineyards are 40 minutes with Newcastle port and its famous surf beaches only 25 minutes, so why aren't you here?

'The Boathouse' Waterfront Studio, Swansea Heads.

2 PEOPLE MAXIMUM NO CHILDREN NO PETS NO COOKING INSIDE The Guesthouse is located on Salts Bay at Swansea Heads. Although it is on our property, it is completely separate to our house, with a private, waterfront entrance. Access is through our front gate, down a sloping path and a flight of stairs. Unfortunately is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Street parking is available. Free use of kayaks. You can swim directly in front of the studio, or from the sandy beach 100m away.

Boatshed Bliss!- absolute waterfront

Only one hour from the CBD yet it feels like another world. Watch the sun rise over the escarpment rising above the glorious Hawkesbury River and drift off to sleep to the rhythm of gently lapping waves. Come by ferry, water taxi ( not jet ski) by to our car-free island. Curl up with a book, bushwalk, birdwatch, throw in a line or stroll down to the cafe for coffee. Perfect for writers, artists, boaters, photographers and nature lovers. Recharge and make memories!

Lily's On The Lake

Our charming studio is only 3 meters from the lapping waters edge of Lake Macquarie. Just relax and watch the yachts sail by, magnificent views. It's quite romantic to sit in the moonlight and feel the lake breeze in the evening. Through day you might like to try your luck at a spot of fishing from our jetty or enjoy a stroll down the main street looking through the boutique shops of Toronto 2 minutes away. A row of gourmet cafe/restaurants that face the lake.

An incredibly peaceful, calm cottage just meters from the waterfront of beautiful Lake Macquarie. Luxurious modern bathroom, state of the art kitchen, and everything you will ever want for a relaxing, rejuvenating private break. Please be aware your luggage needs to be carried from your car park at the top of the hill, down approximately a 100m grassed hill, then back up again.
