If we could rate Lesley Ann, as a host, 20/10, we would!! Extremely friendly and accommodating, beyond our expectations. Extremely knowledgeable of the local area and surrounding wineries. The accommodation is only a few minute’s walk from the main street of Tanunda, lined with many cafes, restaurants and shops. A beautiful place to stay, highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

The Shearing Shed is an immaculately kept little home wonderfully situated amongst vineyards and wildlife. We were greated by some friendly sheep upon arrival and loved waking up every morning to the chorus of birds. In the house itself is a cozy fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen, both of which we made the most of with the bottle of wine kindly left by the hosts. Also provided is a list of things to do on the property and off - we recommend the walk up the hill to watch the sunset over the grape vines. Overall, a lovely stay; I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique and serene nature getaway (especially those who are also wine enthusiasts!)

From the outside we thought it might be disappointing but inside it ticks all the boxes. Clean and spacious. Pantry much better than usual. Very comfy bed. Huge kitchen area. Great value for money.

The Studio was a lovely place to stay at. Great location and all amenities available. Thr studio was very well furnished and cozy. Thank you for being pet friendly as well, our dog really enjoyed the space too.

Our stay at Karen's was perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully considered by our host. The space was great for the 4 of us... spacious rooms and bathrooms as well as the open plan kitchen and living area. There was enough food for 6-8 people and we enjoyed our cook up of local bread, bacon and eggs on the Sunday when we had a late check out. Bread, jams, cereals, coffee and treats were overflowing and various milks were available too. Such a memorable experience...we hope to return one day!

Perfect location, dog friendly beach, transport options (bus outside house, train 5 mins drive) close by cafes/restaurants (Vietnamese amazing) Dog friendly home, our border collie loved the garden and our two girls enjoyed the stay too. Large home, ideal for 3 adults and 2 children. Plenty of TV options and lounge area perfect. Comfy beds-beautiful cotton linen appreciated! Everyone slept brilliantly. Lots of meals cooked in kitchen, breakfast items were a lovely touch. Thank you so much Vincent!!

It was a beautiful cottage, with lots of friendly animals and beautiful surroundings. Marijan was very friendly and provided some good recommendations for local site seeing. I highly recommend the place to stay for a few nights

We had the most wonderful (four night) stay at Deb’s place. The location was perfect, close to historic towns and great wineries and only a forty minute drive to the city. The home/farm is on a quiet country road and very peaceful. The home is beautifully presented, the beds super comfortable and the kitchen very well-equipped. We loved being able to select produce from the vege garden to use in our evening meal. The gardens are wonderful and full of colour at this time of year. The wildlife at Oakbank is abundant and we were especially exited to spot a koala on our first day and visited him daily. Deb is a great host and very responsive. A lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home and my husband and our four adult children really appreciated it.

Adam and Alex were really kind hosts who were always quick to respond. Their house is exactly as the photos show - amazing! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Sarah's place was absolutely beautiful. Both Sarah and Nathan were very responsive to any questions and we're flexible with arrival and check-out times. I would highly recommend them as hosts and recommend a stay at their wonderful property. Thank-you.

My partner and myself stayed at The House on Soul Hill for our 6 year anniversary - and safe to say we absolutely fell in love with it! the property itself is beautiful with touches of curated local art and produce (our breakfast box was delightful!) as well as having a simply breathtaking view of the fields of Lobethal. The entire place felt inviting, calming and peaceful and we had everything we needed and more - some personal highlights being the record player (the Beatles were on repeat!) the selection of local organic teas, and the most comfortable bed. Luke and Aylwen were super responsive, friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and businesses - they even gave us free coffee vouchers to use at their local cafe Emma and Ivy (a must visit - the coffee is incredible) which was unbelievably kind of them 🥰 This is a must visit - we will definitely be returning and I strongly encourage everyone to experience a weekend at The House on Soul Hill 🫶🏻

Great little place! Exactly what we were after as a short staycation! Indoor fireplace and wood provided, along with beautiful surroundings made the weekend feel like we were secluded and didn’t need to leave. Breakfast provided was more than I expected and loved the spa bath and family games. So many little details that went a long way! Would stay again

We loved our 3 night stay at The Shearing Shed. Probably our fave airbnb experience yet, & we’ve many! Beautiful surrounds & the space is super special. Furnished & equipped thoughtfully. A spacious open plan interior beautifully decorated & a generous deck with stunning views. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Beautiful place. Stunning views out over the valley. Pohs place was extremely well equipped with everything you could want and more. Poh was so easy to deal with and very responsive. We will be back

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Communication was excellent. The hosts are really friendly and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful property nestled in the hills, just what we were after

My family and I were staying at Lyn and Stef's beautiful house - with amazing views - for my daughter's wedding near by that weekend. The bridal party got ready in the house and we have some beautiful photos to add to my daughters special day. The house was amazing and had plenty of room for a large family. When we arrived we were greeted by Lyn and a very nice gourmet cheese board and a bottle of wine and the fridge and pantry had lots of provisions of food, which was appreciated very much. The beds were very comfortable and all the rooms were very nicely decorated. My grandchildren really enjoyed the upstairs games room and the swimming pool. There was plenty of car parking outside. We all had a great stay.

This was the perfect weekend stay for our weekend. Sarah was so lovely and friendly and made us feel right at home. I had one of the best massage by Sarah in a cosy section on the property where we were staying. Would recommend anyone that stays here to get a massage! The property is beautiful, we had weekend visits from kangaroos, ducks and echidna made his appearance too. The outdoor bath was the most relaxing thing whilst you soak in the beautiful views and sunset. Really a gem in the Adelaide hills and will definitely be booking to stay at this place again. Perfect for a relaxing weekend or if you wanted to host a party here, felt very looked after and would recommend this place to anyone that would listen!

Great place to stay, we had a lovely family holiday. Very quiet area and loads of places to go within a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again! Joanne was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had here during our stay.
