Mikes place was perfect for a short stay. Very clean with everything we needed. Lovely peaceful location, coffee van in walking distance and Maitland Bay beach.

Ann was a great host her place is beautiful and the oldest on the Island. Personally loved the waterbed and the gardens are great. Breakfast was a really nice experience, calming views of the lake. Movie room was full of old cd’s to choose from. And fireplace was superrr Would love to stay again!

Myself and my kids had a wonderful stay. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate and make us feel welcome. There was lots to do while remaining relaxing and not overwhelming. A great place to slow down and connect. It has plenty to do onsite (amazing pool, animals, trampoline, pool table), and a short distance drive (convenience stores, takeaway, restaurants and activities) the cabin feels homely and comfortable without being too fancy so it’s family friendly. We really felt at home and appreciated the host families’ kindness and time while retaining our privacy. The beds were very comfortable and it has all the basics you would need and a few little extras. We are so grateful for a wonderful break. Thank you so much! Special mention to the glorious pool and feeding the horses was my daughter’s highlight. We would love to return Ashleigh and kids

We can’t thank Jenny enough! She was great to communicate with before and after the stay! She was so caring and even gave us an upgrade just for one night and provided farm eggs and freshly brought bread for us. Offered a farm tour with unfortunately couldn’t do but would love to come back to! The property was stunning and we enjoyed exploring it before the rain. The accomodation provided so much more than we need absolutely perfect especially with a 4 month old and 2 dogs xx

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay. The house was just over an hours drive from Sydney so made the commute over the long weekend easy. The house was spacious, well equipped and the pool was fantastic. Each bedroom has an ensuite and the multiple living spaces were perfect for 2 families. The house is situated on a broodmare farm so we were surrounded by mares and their foals, which was really special. There is so much to do in the area or you can just relax at the farm. We will definitely be back…

Had a wholesome stay at Jackie's place, the space itself is super comfortable and quaint, she warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home from the get-go. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the horses and other animals are friendly and beyond sweet. I even got to pick a pumpkin from the patch growing amongst the horses. This stay was exactly what we needed and we cannot recommend it enough!

This cottage was a perfect little farm stay for me and my bridesmaids before my wedding! Very clean and modern, and nice and private. Perfect location for us to go to my wedding at Chapel Ridge. Highly recommend if you are getting married there as it is only 10 mins away. 10/10!

We used the house as a base for our daughter’s wedding on the recommendation of a friend who had done the same. It proved to be a great idea as the house provided ample space and facilities for bridesmaids and our family. The grounds and house were perfect for wedding prep photos and videos. The setting is beautiful with sweeping bush views beyond grassy paddocks. Everyone who stayed with us agreed it was perfect for us and we may be back in the future for another wedding!

Great weekend away with our family for Easter break , my daughter loved all the animals , and the bedroom full of toys, the home was perfect size for the four of us, was super comfy and peaceful , short drive down to the beach , and lots to do within a hour of the property, Kristen & Paul are super friendly & we’re very helpful sharing there local knowledge.

Was so peaceful waking up with the country out the deck, cattle grazing nearby. Meredith was great with responses, felt like you were at home with everything you needed.

We had a wonderful time staying at Philip and Hung’s home, located in a very peaceful, private and serene location. So many amenities! One of our highlights was meeting Kiko & Cindy, very friendly dogs. Our room was comfortable and clean, no problems whatsoever. Philip and Hung are fantastic hosts and we look forward to coming back and staying a little longer.

We had an incredible stay at this charming farm! Michael and Christie, our host, was fantastic, especially with the kids. The feeding sessions were a highlight for them—they absolutely adored getting up close with the horses and alpacas. It was heartwarming to see how much joy they got from these experiences. Evenings were magical as we gathered around the fire pit for some star gazing. The kids loved roasting marshmallows under the stunning night sky—a perfect way to wind down after a day full of adventure. This farm stay was everything we hoped for and more. We highly recommend it to families looking for a unique and memorable getaway!

What a beautiful place to relax in peaceful surroundings that were private and had so many little extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. Feeding the ponies, the dart board, bbq, we didn’t even get to the board games and cards that were also assessable. We loved our stay. Thank you for having us.

This property is a little slice of heaven. The house and ground's are immaculate. Phil and Hung are amazing hosts that make you feel at home. This is the first time we've booked an Airbnb that was hosted and we'd happily do it again. They gave us a privacy and let us do our own thing, but they were there to help and show us how to use things, like the pizza oven. If you are thinking about visiting this property, don't hesitate we had 11 people and two dogs over Christmas and we all had the most amazing time. We loved Amaroo and cant wait to catch up with our new friends Phil, Hung, Kiko and Cindy again.

A group of us had the pleasure of a short trip away from Sydney at Dan & Lanes place. The spot is simply gorgeous! We loved the charm of the farm animals, firepit (indoor and outdoor), the rustic kitchen and cozy living space. Being nearby to the beach and coastal towns was a treat and having easy access into the property helped when loading our things when it was rainy. To top our trip, Dan & Lane were kind enough for us to feed the animals which we adored. We’d absolutely recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed on a lovely stay.

As a large group we found the facilities to be excellent. The spa was clean and well maintained. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were also more than adequate for a large group. The area has a huge variety of water activities, shopping, nature, restaurants. The home is not easily accessed by the frail or the elderly due to the stairs and steep driveway but the view is amazing.

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.
