This is a very spacious studio aprt in the heart of the old town and marina/promenade. The apartment is very clean. You are in walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping, and beaches are a few min walk. This place is a winner!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment! It is in a very clean and well maintained aparthotel called Oliva Hotel with nice furnishings. The host Sophia was very responsive and helpful. It has a particularly nice and clean pool and garden area with a small kids play area. We visited in May and there were only a few apartments occupied so it was nice and quiet. I got the impression it would still be fairly quiet in high season as it doesn't have an attached restaurant or bar like the bigger resorts nearby. Maleme is a nice area with a good supermarket, lots of decent restaurants and lovely sea view. The beach is a pebble one. It has buses going through it which include ones going to Chania, Falasarna and Paleochora. The photos of the apartment I feel don't really do it justice (especially the one with the white plastic chairs on a balcony is not a correct one). We definitely recommend staying here!

Une vue magnifique sur la mer et une partie de la vieille ville, nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette appartement très bien situé dans La Canée.

Abbiamo soggiornato le prime due settimane di ottobre e non posso che fare una recensione super positiva di questo posto. Casa molto bella e accogliente, con una vista mare meravigliosa, non puoi non svegliarti bene! Posizione ottima per raggiungere varie mete in macchina, oltre che ad essere a soli 20 minuti di macchina da Chania. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla bontà e dalla gentilezza dell’host, mamma di Gorgios, una persona davvero di cuore e molto disponibile. Ci tengo a dare un consiglio a chi andrà in futuro in uno di questi appartamenti : di avere cura dei gattini che girano lì, sono dolcissimi e una carezza in più fa per loro la differenza ♥️ Noi tutte le sere gli davamo da mangiare delle scatolette di carne. Non potendoli salvare tutti, nel nostro piccolo si puo’ fare la cosa più giusta per loro!

One of the best Airbnb spots I have stayed in! The apartment has amazing views, close to tons of restaurants/bakeries/coffee shops, and only a 20min walk to old town. The hosts are the best, they were very friendly and made sure that you felt at home! They even left us pastries one morning. I highly recommend this apartment! We will definitely be coming back!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in Jurgas Unterkunft ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Wir konnten flexibel einchecken und wurden herzlich begrüßt und immer gut beraten. Die Wohnung war super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir konnten sogar unsere Wäsche waschen. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist ein Traum. Zu Fuß sind Strand und zahlreiche Restaurants erreichbar. Wir waren in der Nebensaison für eine Woche da, alles war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Wir konnten uns super erholen.

A compact and comfortable apartment, right at the heart of the village, yet surprisingly quiet. Great shower and very comfortable bed. Everything was as described and shown in photos. Communication with the hosts was good and they were helpful.

We had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful view, a thoughtful and responsive host and they even prepared a special welcome as it was my birthday. Definitely recommend for a long weekend break in Chania!

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Georgios. L'appartement est à deux pas de la plage, vous trouvez des restaurants et commerces dans la rue ou à 300m dans le village. Les chambres sont très spacieuses (plus grandes qu'il n'y paraît dans l'annonce). La terrasse est très agréable et le parking gratuit est juste a côté. Les serviettes de bain et de plage sont fournies. Nous avons trouvé que Kalyvès est bien situé pour visiter l'ouest de la Crète. Nous reviendrons !

Just back from 10 amazing days at Casa del Mar - an oasis of peace and quiet, from wherever you're coming from. The house sits atop a hill, with the most wonderful views across the sea to an island and the rest of the Cretan mainland. That view was the backdrop to many meals, family conversations, and fun-filled evenings. The house is large, with plenty of room for the 8 of us who stayed there. Great facilities throughout, with AC, 4 clean bathrooms, and two kitchens. We used the outdoor grill one evening to make BBQ and it worked well (charcoal). The infinity pool was another meeting place throughout the week. Deep, clean, and with that same incredible view, we spent a LOT of time in it. The family also enjoyed a very unique aspect to this house - direct access to the sea from the path that winds down from the house. We spent hours snorkeling here, up and down the coast, and saw a large number of fish and other sea life. Overall, an oasis of calm. Run, don't walk!

We loved staying in this calm and peaceful location. The villa is a comfortable size to host 8 people, with all the mod cons you require. The hammock in the garden was well used! Stunning views and having the sea just a few steps away was amazing. It was also only a short walk away from some fabulous restaurants. We would love to come back.

L’appartement est très bien situé, agréable et préparé avec goût. Je précise que nous sommes venus en hiver donc je ne peux rien dire quant au bruit dehors en été.

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

An amazing stay at a gorgeous house on the beach - a pleasure to watch your kids play in the sand while you sit on a private terrace just above. Restaurants (and the people running them) were absolutely wonderful. Its a small area, detached from the city and large tourism projects elsewhere. But Marathi Beach has everything you need for a very relaxing and enjoyable visit. My only comment is that the home lacks an indoor livingroom / dining area. It didn't bother us as we happily ate at the covered outdoor table or sat by the beach in the covered loungers - but this may not suit someone looking to relax inside in the late evening

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for a few nights in March. The apartment has plenty of space, and is very nicely decorated. The balcony space is huge and a real selling point for this apartment. The location is great, practically on the beach. There are shops and cafes close by, very short walk to some water front restaurants, and about 20 minute gentle walk to the old town. We had a great time at staying here and would definitely stay here again.

I can see why Katerina is a super host -everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! We felt very comfortable in her place! We found it very convenient and yet peaceful! The view from her balcony was amazing! Katerina was very responsive and pro active ! I would stay here again if I were to visit Chania in the future!

We were very pleased with the place. The walking distance to the beach made it easier and an enjoyable experience for our two children. We also had access to a walking distance supermarket, restaurants, rental car and bus station which we made used of during our stay. The beach was lovely and family friendly. The place was clean and had everything we required for our family. Thank for Paul!

Chrisi ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin! Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit und immer gut gelaunt und freundlich . Die Wohnung ist perfekt für Ausflüge , aber auch perfekt zum Strand um die Ecke. Dazu ist alles vorhanden , was man zum Leben braucht und es gibt sogar eine kleine Flasche Raki im Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung. Wir werden wieder mal hierher kommen!! Brigitte und Peter

Toppbetyg! En väldigt fin och praktisk lägenhet. Fotis & Amalia såg från första början till att vi kände oss som hemma. Tydliga tips och rekommendationer utan att ens behöva be om det. När vi väl kom fram till lägenheten överraskades vi av vin samt en korg med massa smått och gott, ett tecken på deras otroliga gästfrihet! Fotis är väldigt hjälpsam om det skulle vara några funderingar. Såg till att vår resa till Chania blev helt underbar!

Amazing host, a small apartment in the perfect quiet location just next to a small beach. Love it a lot as it was not touristic. And there is free parking next to it which is even better. Highly recommended!!!! Definitely will come back to Crete <3

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit traumhafter Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Super Ausstattung, die Einrichtung ist individuell, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Alles top, einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Perfekte Lage, um Chania zu Fuß zu erkunden. Gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen zum Relaxen und die tollen Ausblicke zu genießen. Zum Venezianischen Hafen bzw. in die Altstadt ist es ein schöner kleiner Spaziergang über die Uferpromenade an zahlreichen Restaurants vorbei. Persönlicher und sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation ist top. Liebe Christina, vielen Dank, wir haben uns in deiner Wohnung und in Chania sehr wohlgefühlt und möchten unbedingt wiederkommen!

Beau logement, propre et bien situé. Endroit calme. Plage juste à côté de la résidence. Personnel très à l’écoute. Seul bémol le petit déjeuner continental est améliorer selon nous.
